forum : : wallis <<>> forum : : valais is the current platform of the "Kleine Konzertreihe Oberwallis" association (kko).
The kko was founded in Brig in 1979 by the first generation of professional native musicians to establish both classical and jazz music.
Since 2006 the kko organizes the contemporary arts festival forum : : wallis
which basically is dedicated to the works of living Swiss and Valaisan composers and performing artists including close interdisciplinary collaboration with artists, schools and medias.
The first forum : : wallis took place in Brig / VS in October 2006.
The second edition 2007 will take place from september 7.-15. in both Sierre (Les Halles) and Leuk (Schloss Leuk) and is also associated to both valais cultural networks scenes: valaisannes and label' art.
